However, I have come to understand reader frustration over ’sharing’ ebooks. Due to their digital nature, the law states you can’t ’share’ them unless you have permission from the copyright holder.

The ebook titles with cover prices will grant each lawful purchaser limited rights to share them with friends & family.

I don’t always have control on whether or not DRM is applied to the ebook files, depending on the distribution site. If you prefer DRM free ebooks, you will find them at:
